Crownstar Electronics was merged into Melcom in 2022. They serve as the after sales service center for all electronics & electricals products sold, as well as assemble televisions, gas cookers and other product ranges locally.
Melcom launched it’s E-commerce portal www.melcom.com in 2017 with an aim to target the digitally savvy customers who sought convenience to shop while being mobile. It is now amongst the largest e-commerce portal in Ghana, with it’s own 20,000 sq ft fufillment center. It will be launching it’s own hyperlocal mobile application shortly.
Melcom Mini - the convenience store concept was launched in 2021, with 5 stores now operational. We plan to expand to other key locations within the country this year.
This division of Melcom was introduced in 2021 to offer home solutions as a concept under one-roof. It currently has 2 stores and plan to add more in 2023.
Melcom acquired the exclusive franchise rights for Giordano in Ghana and opened it’s first store in September 2021.
Melcom acquired the exclusive distribution rights for crocs in Ghana and opened the first store in December 2022.
The footwear brand is currently available in 2 Melcom stores and is expected to expand to other locations within the year.
Activ8 (Gym & Spa), to be introduced this year, is a gym and a wellness spa aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Pizza Hut, the global quick service restaurant brand was relaunched by Melcom Group’s subsidiary Skyline Investments Limited in November 2021, with 13 restaurants opened as at December 2022, and 5 more planned in 2023. Skyline was merged with Melcom in 2022.
The Art Kitchen, started in 2022, is an in-store restaurant, offering several international and local menus in 2 locations.
Other locations will be opened in 2023.
The Sip Cafe - an in store cafe - was first opened in 2022 and is set to be in other Melcom stores soon.
Maharaja Indian Cuisine is an Indian restaurant to be launched in 2023 and will offer dishes from North and South India in a fine dining experience.
Hallab Gourmet 1881 is the leading Lebanese restaurant brand from Lebanon that Melcom is introducing in Ghana with 3 restaurants in 2023.
Melcom has acquired the exclusive franchise rights for Yolé- leading ice cream brand from Spain. In 2023 Yolé will have 3 outlets across key stores of Melcom.
On The Rocks Bar was launched in 2022 at Melcom’s food court in North Kaneshie and will be expanded to 4 new locations in the current year.
Arcadia - a state of the art virtual reality gaming zone was launched in 2021 for it’s customers. It will be introduced in 2 other locations in the current year.
